Chamber committees offer a valuable opportunity for members to actively contribute to and support the work of the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce. The Executive Committee is made up of the officers of the Chamber Board who act on behalf of the entire Board of Directors. These include the Chair, Chair-Elect, Past Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary.
The Finance Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the Chamber's financial matters, ensuring sustainability, and upholding ethical standards. The Program of Work Committee plays a critical role supporting the Chamber staff in shaping the Chamber's annual calendar of programs, initiatives, and events. They meticulously review, evaluate, and develop Chamber activities before submitting them to the Board of Directors for approval. Zebulon Education Partners, an initiative of the Zebulon Chamber, establishes a platform dedicated to fostering collaboration, sharing knowledge and resources, and promoting effective strategies to support the growth and success of education in our community. Through meaningful workshops and dialogue, members cultivate partnerships that enhance educational opportunities for our youth and workforce so that each person realizes their full potential to constructive participate in our growing community and economy. The Zebulon Youth Health & Wellness Network provides engagement, collaboration, and educational opportunities for those who work with our youth in Zebulon. As a partnership among WakeMed Health & Hospitals, Zebulon Parks and Recreation, Empowered Citizens, Wake County Eastern Regional Center, and the Zebulon Chamber, the partners plan quarterly community-wide workshops in which experts in youth health and mental wellness share information and resources. The overall objective is to foster a supportive environment that empowers young individuals to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, the Zebulon Youth Health & Wellness Network aims to create a strong support system that positively impacts the well-being of youth in Zebulon.
