Committees

Communication/Marketing Committee
This committee will review all methods of current and possible communication and marketing strategies such as but not limited to:  Monthly newsletter, "Chamber Chatter” weekly email update, website advertising, directory, chamber logo, email domain, newspaper monthly chamber page, chamber advertising.

Member Services Committee
This committee will work with the Member Services Coordinator to maintain and grow member services such as but not limited to:  Business After Hours, The Morning Connection, Learning Lunch, Business Women Networking Group, Membership Drive, Ribbon Cuttings, Business of the Month, Continuing Education classes, Ambassador’s program.

Annual Events
This committee will review and determine current and possible annual events such as but not limited to: Annual Banquet, Golf Tournament, 5K Race, Litter Sweep (Spring & Fall), Member Appreciation, Expo, Christmas Parade, Reverse Raffle, Cruise, Shred Day, Teacher Appreciation Awards.

Education Committee
This committee will review education matters such as but not limited to: East Wake Business Alliance, Education Roundtables, recognize a teacher

Economic Development/Governmental/Legislative
This committee will review and update the chamber on Economic Development/Governmental/Legislative matters such as but not limited to:  Committee of 100, Town of Zebulon, Local and regional economic matters, Candidates Forums, Elected officials.

Personnel Committee
This committee will review and handle any personnel matters such as but not limited to: personnel handbook, job descriptions, performance reviews, salary increases, bonuses, vacation/sick/holiday/overtime matters.

Finance Committee
This committee will review annual budget and any other finance matters.

Bylaws Committee
This committee will review the current Bylaws and make suggestions to the Board regarding any provisions that require reconsideration and or revision.

Awards Criteria Committee
This committee will review current procedures and forms in place to select Business of the Month, Ambassador of the Year, Business of the Year (small and large) and Citizen of the Year awards and provide ideas for improvement and more detailed procedures for selection.
